Our main venue is located in the heart of Tepoztlán (literally), as it is right at the outskirts of the entrance of El Tepozteco (mountain that holds a main archaeological site from the Aztec empire).
To get to the venue, the main hotels will be calling a bunch of taxis so that they are there ready to take you. In case you need to call one, here are a couple options:
Taxi Valle Sagrado Tepoztlán - +52 739 395 3582
Radio Taxi H. Independencia - +52 739 395 1076
On your way there you’ll get a first hand view of the local Mexican culture as the cars will pass right next to a street market, don’t worry your driver will make it work even if it looks like the car doesn’t fit 😅
Getting There (and back) 🚌
✈️ Flights: You will fly into Mexico City International Airport (MEX). If staying in Mexico City, it is easy to Uber from the airport to wherever you are staying.
🚌 Driving to Tepoztlán: Tepoztlán is a 45-60 min drive away from Mexico City. We’ll have (free) shuttles that run from the hotels listed below at different times (schedules to be sent after you have completed the RSVP and selected the shuttle service option), but it is also possible to take an Uber if you prefer.
🚎 Driving back to Mexico City: On Sunday, we will have shuttles heading back to locations in Mexico City (including the airport). Exact details TBD, but we will make sure you can get where you need to!
Mexico City
We expect that many of you will want to explore Mexico City as part of your trip, and we encourage it! Mexico City (aka CDMX) is Paul and Ana’s favorite city in the world, narrowly beating Wilmington, Delaware.
It offers iconic landmarks, world-class museums, and tantalizing street food, and is well worth a stay of a few days (or weeks). If you do plan to spend some days before or after the wedding, we recommend the following hotels, and there are many great Airbnb options as well. And see here for our list of recommendations :)
